This is Amber! Nope, your eyes are not deceiving you, she is NOT a dane, she is a bloodhound, buuut, we have been known to take on the occasional non-dane from time-to-time and y’all know how much we love to help the medical dogs and the seniors, sooooo, here she is!
Amber was found tied to a post on the streets in Tijuana. Amber is a senior girl who is severely emaciated, has one large tumor and several other masses, teeth are in awful shape, she is anemic and dehydrated and in need of some food and some TLC. Amber is not stable enough for surgery at this time, but as soon as she is at a healthy weight and in better overall condition, we will be getting her tumor(s) looked at/biopsied/removed. We CAN’T WAIT for this girl’s transformation and to see what her future holds! Regardless the outcome of her biopsy/cytology, we are going to give the BEST life possible for as long as possible! Welcome to the good life, Amber!!! A HUGE thank you to the rescuers in Mexico that help network these dogs and get them to safety, these dogs wouldn’t have a chance if it weren’t for them! 🙏If you would like to donate towards Amber’s care, food, vetting, supplies, etc., donations can be made via PayPal: firstname.lastname@example.org or Venmo: @onedaneatatime
