It is with immense sadness that I report that our senior girl, Betty White, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Betty was treated for pneumonia and diagnosed with Mega Esophagus. I got up to check on her, as she had not been herself for the last day, only to find that she had passed away in her sleep. I regret not having had more time with this special girl, but that is not my call to make. I am comforted in knowing that she did not die alone in a cold shelter, she died on a custom embroidered bed that was gifted to her by a wonderful and AMAZING supporter that reached out wanting sponsor this girl the minute she saw her face. In the short time we had her she was loved, spoiled and she even got to experience RVing. Rest in peace sweet Betty. Run free. She is now reunited with her deceased owner. It was truly a privilege and an honor, beautiful girl.
